Hand made Mulberry Bark Paper, popularly know as Sa-paper.
This is one of our selected items of the local community or
village efforts, in their making of the sa-paper and other products associated with it. holiday apartment kiev
Mulberry bark paper or better known as Sa-paper, is actually a
traditional way of making paper from the old days. The process involves gathering the barks
from mulberry trees and are slow boiled until the bark softens. Using mallets, the soften barks
are pounded until it is mashed. This is later laid out on meshed frames and dried in the sun.
